What's been released since our last monthly batch of updates? Quite a bit! Below are some of the notable things that are new in OpsLevel.
Helping you balance speed and security with GitHub Advanced Security
Balancing speed and security in software development is an ongoing challenge. OpsLevel Code Issues now integrates with GitHub Advanced Security, incorporating results from Code Scanning, Dependabot, and Secret Scanning. This integration provides daily updates on critical vulnerabilities and risks, automatically linking them to associated repositories, and ensures that the right teams have the visibility to take action.

Scaffold new services with speed and confidence
Service Templates can help development teams accelerate the creation of new services, with built-in enforcement and best practices.
This is now even faster and less error prone with fields that automatically populate, including service name, description, and repository. Additionally, you can now define transforms to modify inputted values in order to meet specific requirements (e.g. removing spaces, capitalization, etc.).

Relevant and actionable information - when and where you need it
OpsLevel now surfaces deployment status, start and end times, and duration. The Deploys List has new filtering by Status and Start/End times, with clearer information on deployment progress. We’ve also made all of this information available in the Deploys and Pie Chart widgets.
You can now add a BitBucket widget to your Component, Team, or Dashboard pages, giving you better visibility and quicker access to your PRs.
Teams using GitLab can now get better visibility into ongoing work, including merge requests and issues, with GitLab MR and Issue Widgets.

Spend less time searching
- Search results are now faster and more relevant, thanks to improved indexing and retrieval logic.
- Team information, including name, aliases, description, tags, and custom properties, can now be searched.
- You can now do partial text searches within URLs and case-sensitive partial text searches with the improved general search feature.
If you want to see any of these new features live, please feel free to grab a time on our calendar.
