Ramping up Go-To-Market at OpsLevel
Our Business is Growing
Fiscal Q1 is almost wrapped, and it’s been a doozy: after closing our Series A our revenue is growing quickly, and we’ve been able to bring on a ton of new awesome customers–like OpenTable, BigPanda, Fastly, Adobe, and more.
We’re excited and humbled to be able to learn from these companies as they adopt OpsLevel to improve developer productivity and their overall reliability and security.
Product velocity has also been accelerating:
- OpsLevel can now be used to orchestrate your people towards a common goal with our Campaigns feature–driving tech initiatives, migrations, OKRs, or big upgrades across your engineering organization and the services they own.
- We’ve put a ton of new integrations into our customers’ hands recently, including Datadog, PagerDuty, OpsGenie, Jira, Sentry, and more–making sure OpsLevel can work where you work.
- Our API Docs feature is currently in Beta. If you’re looking for an integrated, scalable solution to human discoverabilty of your internal APIs–so your teams can work more efficiently–get in touch.
Our Leadership is Growing
We have proven demand for OpsLevel’s internal developer portal, so now it’s time to scale. To lead this effort, I’m very excited to welcome the first addition to our leadership team: Todd Osborne has joined us as Head of Worldwide Sales.
Todd has over 20 years of diverse go-to-market experience, most recently as a senior sales leader at New Relic. He brings experience building and leading high-growth sales teams, alliances and partnerships, and vast global leadership experience. Todd will lead the sales, pre-sales, business development, and partner teams.
Here’s what Todd wanted to share about joining OpsLevel:
The world continues to digitize and the trend will only continue as we recover from the pandemic and business evolves around a hybrid work reality. All companies large and small will continue to evolve to software-driven businesses if they are not already there.
Distributed microservice architectures are the norm in the modern software world, but the growth of microservices creates new problems around management, reliability, ownership, compliance and maturity of these environments. This is where OpsLevel shines, and the vision that John and Ken and team have for the future is impressive.
Now that the small and agile initial sales efforts have shown success, it is time to scale, and I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to help build a world-class, nimble, diverse and highly successful revenue organization.
Our Team is Growing
Until recently, most of OpsLevel has been our world-class engineering team (which continues to scale). Now we’re also beginning to ramp up our go-to-market teams; we’ll still focus on our core values (below), incorporating them into everything we do.
- Empathy
- Growth Mindset
- Intellectual Honesty
- Focus & Efficiency
- Simplicity
We’ll also continue the remote-first nature of OpsLevel as we expand the go-to-market organization. We’re hiring for many roles, including:
- Account Executives
- Pre-Sales Solutions Consultants
- Customer Success Managers
- Business Development Representatives
- Several Marketing roles
- Partner Managers
Most of these roles will require residency in the US and Canada this year (with global expansion on the horizon), but we are otherwsie flexible on location as we embrace a remote work culture.
If you want to ramp up your career and have a role in building the next great developer platform for the most progressive software teams, stop by our careers page, and reach out to us today!
