Reminders to assign service ownership
If a service is failing an ownership check, a new red icon will appear on its main index page prompting viewers to add ownership information. Without an owner, the failing check isn’t assigned to anyone to fix and can easily go unresolved. With this update teams can ensure ownership is being assigned across their ecosystem.

Latest updates to Scorecards
- Admins now have the ability to choose if a Scorecard impacts the global maturity level. This can be toggled on or off as you edit a Scorecard.
- Scorecard pages now include a list of all services that will adhere to a Scorecard based on its filter conditions, offering a preview into the impact of a new Scorecard.
Right now, Scorecards are off by default. If you want to start using Scorecards, reach out to your CSM.
Actionable reporting
We’re making it easier than ever to see how your services are performing against your organization and team standards.
- You can now see how your services are performing against your organization’s campaigns on the dashboard or your team pages
- On the teams page, we now highlight a few of the biggest impact checks that you should investigate across your rubric categories and scorecards.
- The Checks report has been enhanced to let you review checks your way, by letting you filter checks across multiple facets, from their status and level to the teams and services that apply to them.

Filters can be set as case-sensitive or case-insensitive
You can now modify filter conditions to determine whether they should be case-sensitive. As you build or edit a filter, simply check or uncheck the “Case-sensitive” box to set your preference. Existing filters will still be case-sensitive until you update this setting, but any new filter predicates added in the UI will be Case-insensitive by default. As of this post, case-sensitivity settings are only available on Saved Filters, but we’re hard at work to enable this for other places that use filters, such as the Service index page.
Do more with Actions via CLI or Terraform
Customers can now manage global custom Actions and secrets in the OpsLevel CLI or our Terraform provider.

That's all for this month, see you in October!
